I used to love ESPN and then last year some non-baseball nerd overhauled it and the graphics changed. I hated it. Yahoo, I am still okay with it. CBS is I imagine still weekly roster changes? I don’t like weekly. And just about everyone’s choice is Fangraphs. I have tried and tried it, in some well thought out leagues, and just can’t get into it. I quit every time. That is why upfront in the rules I stated this league will never go Fangraphs. Also, the other league I mention often uses Yahoo and pledges to not go Fangraphs. Some members want it, but the core members want Yahoo.

Espns change last year has ruined it for me. Hated it so much I tanked in my league because I hated it so much. We moved to Fantrax.

I've found that the app for Yahoo is the easiest to use of all the options (my opinion only), which is why I like it. But I agree their handling of minor league players (what the F is N/A??) and 2-way players is decidedly less than ideal.
As far as making daily roster changes, though, I think their app is the most user friendly.
Once Yahoo baseball goes live, Commish will have to check what his wavier options are--I am not 100% sure you can turn that feature off. If we can disable them, then we can work around this problem. If we cannot, then we have to come up with a work around.

You can turn off waivers in settings. We sign a free agent. The moment we win the bid, we add player, no waiting. Trade a player, drop him, the other team add him. Can be done in less than a minute, only if quick, lol, but you get the point. That is how it works in the other league. 100% sure. Did this many times.

Well then we're okay. You'll only roster 1 version of your 2-way player at a time, and have to add/drop him when you want use his other form. Problem solved!

Options as I see it......
1)Two way players will count as TWO roster spots, but one payroll. When trading or dropping a two way player, both roster spots, meaning the hitting player and the pitching player must be traded or buyout, or waiver procedure, or dropped after contract expires, together. Never treated as two players when changing teams.
2) Two way player counts as ONE roster spot, one payroll. The manager begins the season with 26 contracted players, Ohtani counting as one. Either the hitter or pitcher is dropped, BUT STILL OWNED thus technically having 27 roster spots with one being inactive as dropped at all times.. The manager drops and adds the other Othani at will throughout the season, therefore always having just 26 rostered players, since that is our Yahoo setting. He does not need to post every time he adds or subtracts Ohtani. We all just know what is going on. I have no idea if that makes sense. Lol. Also, the same provision on trades, buyouts etc as option 1.
His two status creates value which is why his player rating is high, and his annual contracted salary is high.
Which one is better and the fairest.

I definitely think option 2 as well. It doesn't seem fair to me to make an owner have to either increase salary or have a shorter roster than everyone else.

Looks like we will go with option two. It’s fair.
